Craig believes the process is just as important as the final outcome and always with a human-centred approach making sure the end user is always at the heart of the process. By unlocking the potential and finding the heart of the people, the company, the building and the internal space, he takes pride and pleasure in creating environments that the users are proud of.

What makes me proud

Visiting a completed project and experiencing that the client is taking pride and pleasure in the environment created.

Where my inspiration begins

My inspiration for a project ultimately comes from the client and their aspirations. When we, as designers, become motivated by the client’s ambition then it makes for a successful relationship and ultimately a successful project.

Located on the 3rd floor overlooking the impressive full height south entrance atrium and stunning original brick facade of the redeveloped power station. The business club acts as the central, social, communal heart of the space. The refined cherry wood central platform and surrounding functional volumes provide a variety of flexible work, meeting and social spaces including open high level informal retreats. My responsibilities on the project include project lead, concept design, detail design & client liaison. Challenge

The Carl Hansen exhibition stand was designed to evoke a sense of calm, comfort and clarity. An architectural curtain around the perimeter of the space created soft wave like walls, dividing the stand into generous pockets of space both internally and externally. The pared-back aesthetic provided a neutral canvas and elegant backdrop, unifying the overall expression and letting the individual Carl Hansen & Søn pieces – the heroes of the space – shine.
