With a background in hospitality and a degree in tourism management, Marloes started working at coworking company Spaces in 2017. As a community manager Marloes was responsible for managing several locations, including the original Spaces location: Spaces Herengracht. Spaces was the first coworking brand to mix flexible offices, hospitality, programming and community atmosphere. Sevil Peach designed the first location and Maarten Jamin, founder of bs;bp, collaborated on the project. It was the beginning of a long-lasting relationship and Marloes being on the bs;bp team makes it full circle.
While working for Spaces, she gained experience in location and people management, but also learned about the value of design. For the bs;bp collective, Marloes is instrumental in the coordination of internal and external projects, she assists in admin tasks, organises site and supplier visits as well as bs;bp’s social gatherings. Marloes lives in Mallorca where she and her partner are realising a coliving project, where people can find a community that value a sustainable lifestyle and creative work environment.

What I enjoy when I’m not working
Go for a swim in the ocean, arranging nice get-to-gathers with friends and share good food and stories, search for a dance floor and dance all night long!
When is design good design?
I believe good design is felt emotionally, therefor it needs to be sensory. So when design is human centered and as a holistic experience.
